What did you want to be when you were a kid?
Everything… A musician, jockey, zoo-keeper, ballerina, to name a few (apparently I'm highly suggestible).
What happened in-between?
I ask myself this all the time. I guess I took the long, and more interesting/fun path, working in clubs, dabbling in teaching English in Japan and then landing in hospitality. The Hyatt was such a great company to work for, it wasn't an easy decision to leave.
What are you doing now?
I'm Emma's Executive Assistant, and loving every minute so far! It’s really rewarding to know that what we do is making a difference.
Does the patriarchy get you down? Like, do you ever just feel really annoyed by the way women get treated?
It does, but I try not to let it get to me and interject when I can.
Who's your fave feminist icon?
Emma! I've always admired her drive to make the world a better place. It’s not just what she does for work - she treats her friends the same way.
