Preventing Sexual Harassment

Step up. Speak out. Shape a culture of respect.

Why You Need It

Sexual harassment isn’t an individual issue — it’s a systemic problem that erodes trust, harms people, and undermines workplaces. Leaders can’t wait for incidents to happen — the law, and ethics, demand proactive action.

Preventing Sexual Harassment equips you with the tools, confidence, and knowledge to create workplaces where harassment is not tolerated and respect is the standard. You’ll learn how to identify risks, intervene safely, support those affected, and role model the behaviours that drive real change. Leadership isn’t just about managing — it’s about shaping culture. Step up, act intentionally, and make your workplace a safe, equitable space for everyone.

We’ll Teach You

By the end of this course, you’ll do more than know the rules — you’ll have the confidence and skills to create lasting change. You’ll:

  • Understand your legal responsibilities. Learn what counts as sexual harassment under the Sex Discrimination Act and your obligations under the new “positive duty” requirements.
  • Build confidence to intervene. Know how to prevent, identify, and respond to harassment in real-world scenarios, including tricky or sensitive situations.
  • Support with care. Apply trauma-informed approaches to help those affected feel safe, heard, and supported without compromising workplace integrity.
  • Role model respectful behaviour. Lead by example and shape a culture where everyone feels safe, valued, and respected.
  • Take proactive action. Access practical tools and strategies to identify risks, mitigate potential incidents, and implement preventative practices across teams, events, and customer interactions.

"I loved this course and could feel how genuine it was as opposed to being designed as a box-ticking exercise. After trying a similar course offered by another company, it was like night and day... Thank you for making such a fantastic course."
