Reclaim: Feminist Leadership

Lead with purpose. Transform with impact.

Why You Need It

Leadership doesn’t have to look the same for everyone — and it certainly shouldn’t reinforce systems of inequality. Intersectional feminist leadership reimagines what it means to lead: it challenges hierarchies, celebrates diverse voices, and creates change that lasts.

Reclaim: Feminist Leadership helps you step into your unique power, challenge limiting beliefs, and lead with purpose and integrity. You’ll uncover how power and privilege shape leadership, learn to take up space while sharing influence, and apply feminist principles to drive meaningful, sustainable impact. Leadership isn’t about fitting in — it’s about reshaping the system from wherever you stand.

We’ll Teach You

By the end of this course, you’ll have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to lead authentically and create impact. You’ll:

  • Understand intersectional feminist leadership. Learn the principles, history, and practices that underpin feminist approaches to leadership.

What's In It

  • Lesson 1: Welcome

We set the scene for your learning journey — introducing what feminist leadership is, why it matters, and how this course will support you to grow as a leader. You’ll get a sense of what’s ahead and start reflecting on your own leadership experiences.

  • Lesson 2: Why feminist leadership?

This module digs into the “why” — exploring the history and principles of feminist leadership, and why it’s such a powerful alternative to traditional leadership models. You’ll learn how feminist leadership challenges power imbalances, centres equity, and creates more inclusive, collaborative ways of leading.

  • Lesson 3: Feminist leadership and you

Here, it gets personal. You’ll explore your own leadership style and values, and reflect on how feminist principles can shape the way you show up — whether you’re leading a team, a project, or change in your community. Expect practical tools for aligning your leadership with your values.

  • Lesson 4: Taking action, driving change

Leadership is about impact. In this module, we’ll focus on how to put feminist leadership into practice — from fostering inclusive team cultures to challenging harmful systems. You’ll explore strategies to drive change at both an individual and collective level.

  • Lesson 5: Over to you

The final module is a chance to consolidate what you’ve learned and look ahead. You’ll be invited to set intentions for your leadership journey and identify concrete steps you can take to lead with courage, care, and equity in your own context.
