We work closely with government entities and organisations to strengthen their capacity. No matter where you’re at in your journey, we take a relational approach to understand your existing strengths and opportunities for improvement. This includes initial diagnostic assessments and co-designed action plans, like gender equality action plans, to help implement positive change within your organisation.
Gender Impact Assessments (GIAs) are a way of critically thinking about how policies, programs, and services meet the different needs of women, men and gender-diverse people. We deliver training on why GIAs are important, and how to undertake them, as well as training on how to create an enabling environment for GIAs with resulting action plans.
For organisations that are looking to go deeper, we offer in-depth support for GIAs. Our facilitation supports staff through each stage of the process, building internal capability and confidence. Clients can choose between two tailored approaches with varying levels of consultation. Both options include a workshop to test and refine actions, and a reflection meeting to embed learnings for long-term impact.
EQI offers a high-level policy audit, including a Gender Impact Assessment policy audit, reviewing up to 10 workplace policies, programs or services. We provide a summary of key strengths and opportunities for action, helping organisations identify practical ways to embed gender equity across their work.
We provide technical support and detailed reviews of draft Gender Impact Assessments (GIAs) and Gender Equality Action Plans (GEAPs). Reviews include written feedback informed by research and best practice, helping to ensure high-quality, evidence-based outcomes. Optional meetings are available to discuss feedback and support implementation.
We believe leadership exists at every level — but we also know the pivotal role people managers play in shaping cultures of inclusion and belonging. That’s why we equip senior leaders with the skills and confidence to lead authentically and champion intersectional gender equality. Through executive workshops, leaders recognise the case for change, develop strategies and action plans to embed it, and find courage and joy in leading the way.
Our workshops and training cover topics such as preventing sexual harassment, understanding intersectionality, inclusive leadership, the links between workplace gender equality and gender-based violence, and more. Each program is designed to equip your team with the knowledge and tools to take meaningful action and build cultures of inclusion and belonging.

The education reached thousands of team members with incredible feedback. After completing the course, over 90% of learners rated their understanding of gender equality as good or very good and 82% reported feeling confident talking about gender equality.
