Six Key Strategies to Apply Intersectionality in Practice at Work and Beyond

When it comes to the issue of equality in our workplaces, the past few years have been a period of rapid and remarkable change. But there’s a hard truth that not everyone is willing to talk about: Most diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives are failing.
The evidence shows that the issues causing a lack of inclusion, diversity and equity are deep, rooted and embedded in our very culture and society. The change we need – the kind which reaps the benefits and rewards of genuine equality and inclusion – takes real work.
In this paper we explore what organisations can do to build genuine cultures of inclusion and belonging.
