Understanding the Gendered Impacts of Climate Change
Based on research funded by the Gates Foundation and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, this policy brief examines how gender inequality weakens the effectiveness of climate solutions, looks at integrated strategies accelerate achievements across the SDGs, outlines the ways climate change and gender inequality are global problems requiring global solutions, and how climate change increases the risks and costs of gender-based violence.
