Understanding the Gendered Impacts of Climate Change
Based on research funded by the Gates Foundation and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, this policy brief explores how climate change increases the likelihood and severity of gender-based violence, and investigates the question of the relationship between climate change and gender equality, asking, what data do we currently have? And, what data do we need? While drawing a more complete picture of the issue along with a suite of recommendations.
