Quantifying the Nexus Between Climate and Gender

This report examines how climate change disproportionately affects women and girls, particularly in low-income and marginalised communities, including by increasing the risk and severity of gender-based violence. It highlights the importance of understanding these links to address the climate crisis and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The report maps the quantitative methods currently used to measure the relationship between climate change and gender, drawing on expert interviews, country visits, and a review of existing evidence.
