We conduct rigorous research to understand what causes violence against women and develop strategies to stop it from happening. We lead national and multi-national research projects, impact evaluations and in-depth quantitative and qualitative research.
We develop creative campaigns, assets and communications. We believe numbers tell a powerful story and we’re committed to sharing knowledge that excites public conversation and ignites social change.
We work to understand what the drivers of violence against women are in different cultural contexts, and then pinpoint effective solutions to fight these. We communicate our findings in ways that are accessible and inclusive, and work with people and organisations who use this data and research to create change. We are governed by principles of inclusivity, positivity, creativity, courage and feminism. Learn more about what we do here.
The Equality Institute was founded in 2015 by Dr. Emma Fulu. Find out more about who we are, how we are and our story here.
